• You act as a knowledge provider and mediator for all quality-relevant issues in the areas of supply chain, sales, customer service and consumer care and are responsible for ensuring that quality management becomes a central strategic lever for the development and control of the business
• You ensure a continuous communication flow with the production sites
• Establish the quality concept and understanding in the local teams (supply chain & sales) in order to ensure adherence to quality standards, implementation of the guidelines and compliance in the logistics process (audits, action plans, etc.)
• You take part in all local innovation, innovation and productivity initiatives, including quality assurance through industrial procedures and the collection of transport tests
• Ensure compliance with all quality relevant aspects when launching new products
• Ensure the implementation and adherence to quality standards for re-packing processes (monthly review of supplier performance, conducting audits, continuous improvement management and review of corrective actions)
• You act as a contact for authorities and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• You collect and bundle consumer and market feedback in order to derive recommendations for the further development of the business
• You control the Customer Care Centers through professional troubleshooting and complaints management (complaints, causes analysis and initiation of corrective actions)
• You participate in risk assessment, cause analysis and solving problems in the event of quality problems

Required Knowledge: 

• Master of Science in the field of food technology (or comparable) or business studies with a focus on logistics or supply chain
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the food industry
• Experience in dealing with customers and consumers with regard to troubleshooting and critical issues
• Very good analytical and risk management skills
• High problem-solving competency and communication skills
• You are proactive, anticipate and see the bigger picture
• You are persuasive, enthusiastic about your vision and like to communicate your knowledge
• You like to make decisions and are used to working under pressure
• You create commitment and cooperation with the interfaces
