The EuFooD-STA webinar "Integrative predictive modeling for food safety and quality – Tools and applications" took place 24 October 2017.
The webinar deals with the following:
- Basics of predictice microbiology and predictive quality.
- Webdatabases available.
- Integrative predictive modeling as an extended tool for the food industry.
Presenter:
The presenter Cristina L.M. Silva is Associate Prof at Portuguese Catholic University – College of Biotechnology, and is involved in research on quality and safety of processed foods, with emphasis on mathematical modelling and optimisation.
She is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Food Studies, and past-president of ISEKI_ Food Association. Cristina is currently coordinator of 3rd cycles at ESB-UCAPOR, member of directive board of CBQF (http://cbqf.esb.ucp.pt/), and Principal Investigator of "Food risk mitigation tools and strategies".
