I have work experience including teaching at Acme career launchers (current employment); during PhD (Guru Nanak Dev University, India); research (Guru Nanak Dev University and University of Delhi, India) and corporate (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi). Here is the summary of my skills: Teaching: • Teaching undergraduate and post graduate students of Food Science & Technology • Prepare and deliver tutorials, Marking student’s work and examinations Research: • Review and analyze existing research documents • Provide guidance to Food Science students in their research work and dissertation (selection of topic, literature review, methodologies to conduct experimentation, interpretation of results, statistical analysis of data and thesis write up). • Techniques: Hunter colorimeter, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Texture analyser, Rapid Visco Analyser, Freeze Dryer, Particle size analyser, Differential Scanning colorimetery, Light microscopy, SEM, XRD, and enzyme assays to analyse digestibility of food products, to name a few. • Methodologies for determination of swelling-solubility, transmittance, syneresis, WSI-WAI, microscopic structure, crystallinity, pasting-, thermal properties, in vitro digestibility of starches and sensory analysis, to name a few. • As Senior Research Fellow at University of Delhi on microbiological aspects of fresh fruits and vegetables • Peer-reviewed publications • Good command over MS office and statistical tools Corporate: • Develop and manage food officials database • Active communication with officials on subject specific issues • To organize workshops for higher officials on Food related issues • Preparation of manuals relating to (Food Laws, Food Science, Technology, Preservation and Safety)
